The biggest transfer saga of the summer has come to an end as Barcelona have completed the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. The Polish striker will sign a three-year deal with the option to extend it for a further year.

The transfer fee is said to be €45 million in fixed payment, plus €5 million in variables.

Robert Lewandowski had already made it crystal clear he wanted out of Bayern this summer and his wish has now been granted. He joins Xavi’s squad and adds to the coach’s attacking options for next season.
