Poll: more than 50% of voters ‘Happy’ about the election results in Georgia. According to The Hill survey, Fifty-six percent of registered voters in the Jan. 6-7 said they are either very or somewhat happy about the Georgia Senate runoff races which saw Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock both defeat Republican incumbents.

Forty-four percent of respondents said they are very or somewhat unhappy with the results.

The survey found young voters, voters of color and Democratic respondents were more likely to say they are very happy with the results.

Thirty-six percent of 18-34-year-olds surveyed, 55 percent of Black respondents, and 63 percent of Democrats said they are very happy.

With the victories of Ossoff and Warnock, President-elect Joe Biden is entering the White House with the Democrats taken charge in both chambers of Congress.
